OutcomeLab
Test the outcome before you commit.
OutcomeLab is Simplutech’s decision-simulation consultancy. We use MiroFish-powered scenario modelling to help you compare what is likely to happen if you choose option A, B or C.

How OutcomeLab Works
We use MiroFish to create structured multi-agent simulations. Artificial customer, citizen, competitor or stakeholder agents interact inside a scenario, each with different behaviours, objections and preferences. Simplutech then interprets the outputs, tests the assumptions and turns the findings into a practical decision report.
It is not fortune-telling. It is a structured way to compare plausible outcomes before you commit money, staff or reputation.
Deliverable
Your OutcomeLab Report Includes:
- Scenario comparison across the options you are considering
- Recommended option and why it is strongest
- Assumptions log showing what the simulation depended on
- Risk register covering commercial, operational and reputational risks
- Sensitivity notes showing which assumptions matter most
- 30 / 60 / 90-day action plan
- Measurement plan so results can be checked after the decision
What is OutcomeLab?
It is not fortune-telling
OutcomeLab is for decisions that are too important to leave to gut feel but too urgent for months of traditional research. You bring the decision, the options and the context. We structure the scenario, run the simulation and return a clear report showing likely outcomes, risks, assumptions and recommended next actions.
OutcomeLab does not pretend to predict the future perfectly. It is a structured decision-support service. The value is in comparing plausible futures, surfacing hidden risks, challenging assumptions and helping you act with more confidence.
How MiroFish strengthens the method
MiroFish allows the decision to be rehearsed inside a simulated environment using multiple agents with different behaviours, preferences, objections and memory. Simplutech then turns that output into a practical decision report with commercial, operational and public-sector context.
How it works
- Define the decision — what are you trying to choose between?
- Build the scenario brief — we capture options, context, constraints and goals.
- Configure the simulation — agents, behaviours, environment and assumptions.
- Run competing scenarios — option A, option B, option C in parallel.
- Analyse the outputs — surface trade-offs, risks and unexpected consequences.
- Deliver the report — executive summary, comparison, recommendation, action plan.
- Validate — track real-world results as the decision is implemented.
Typical outputs
Marketing spend optimisation
Where should your budget go? We model Facebook vs Google vs TikTok vs discounts vs branding across your specific audience and cost structure — and recommend the allocation most likely to deliver return.
New business launch strategy
Soft launch or big launch? First 90-day budget plan? Best acquisition channels? We model the options for new businesses and startups to maximise early momentum.
Pricing strategy
Would a 5% price increase grow or shrink revenue? Does a premium tier cannibalise your core product? We model the scenarios before you change a single price.
Customer demand modelling
Simulate busy periods, seasonal demand, staffing requirements, and inventory needs. Stop reacting to demand — start anticipating it.
Competitor response scenarios
What if your competitor cuts prices? Should you match, improve service, or hold firm? We model the likely outcomes of each response strategy in your local market.
Location & expansion decisions
Second branch? Delivery radius expansion? Combined with our GIS capability, we model demographic fit, catchment areas, and revenue probability by location.
Public sector
Higher-value consulting for councils & government
Our background in government GIS and enterprise data delivery means we understand how public sector organisations work. OutcomeLab can model traffic policy impacts, service demand changes, citizen uptake of digital services, and budget allocation scenarios — giving decision-makers evidence before commitment.

Is OutcomeLab Right for Your Decision?
OutcomeLab is best suited for decisions where the cost of getting it wrong is higher than the cost of testing it first.
Typical engagement
- Short decision brief
- Scenario and assumption setup
- Simulation and analysis
- Decision report
- Optional follow-up review or implementation support
Good fit
- You have 2–5 options to compare
- The decision affects budget, capacity, customers, citizens or reputation
- You can provide enough context to model the decision realistically
Not a good fit
- You need a guaranteed prediction
- There is no clear decision to make
- The answer depends on confidential data that cannot be shared or summarised safely
